my background
Since the seventies I have been aware of how food can make us well or ill depending on our tolerance to it. My father had severe food intolerances which he cured thanks to advice from the Hyperactive Children’s Support Group (HACSG).
Motivated to help others in the same way, he became a support contact for people in our area who needed advice. I studied food and nutrition for personal interest for many years and read all of the HACSG information too.
Throughout my twenties I was a magazine editor and at thirty I went to University and I gained a BSc Honours degree in Health Sciences specialising in homoeopathy. I have practiced for eleven years now during which time I have had two boys.
I have also extensively studied food and its role in health at university where part of my degree was in nutritional biochemistry. Certainly food must always be considered when a child visits my clinic.
Three years ago I realised that my son had neuro developmental delay and I set about finding a remedy. I discovered the work of various people including Svea Gold, an amazing woman in her eighties who lives in Oregon. She has been my mentor and support through my learning process. Out of necessity I have learned this amazing way of helping the brain. I have also been in demand with other parents and out of a desire to help, I have written this website.
